The rates are comparable to other local storage places, and I've never had a problem with anybody working here. The online repeating payments are simple to set up and use. Everyone that I've talked to who works here has always been friendly and helpful.

The service here is great! We were stuck in traffic and they made sure we were able to go to the other location (which is open later) to sign the papers. An accident happened on the freeway and we got delayed further, and they were super understanding and stayed open even later. The people who work here are great!

I had a fantastic experience with these guys! I needed a small storage unit during my move to Boise and Cody and Karissa were able to get me a perfect sized unit for a very affordable price. They were extremely friendly and were able to answer all of my questions. There was even a time when I thought I had left something outside of my unit and Karissa went and personally checked for me when I called! The unit was clean and very secure. It was easily accessible which made it easy for me to stop by when I needed to. I would totally go with these guys again!

Weve rented a unit for a few years now and have been very happy with Stor-it storage on Ten Mile and Franklin. Cody and Krissa have always been very helpful and professional. The property is secure, clean and well kept. The storage units are clean and priced competitively. They have lots of different sized units making it easy to rent a unit that isnt too big or too small. The location is extremely convenient to where we live. The ability to pay our bill online is easy and convenient.

We are moving to Meridian/ Boise area and werent sure what size storage unit we would need they helped us decide and were very through in explaining everything about the billing and legal issues related to the storage unit. The unit managers Cody and Krissa are just fantastic!!! I have been using a storage unit at this location for years. Actually quite a few different sizes. Each time I needed to transition to another unit or if I needed help with anything Cody and Krissa were very helpful! They really maintain the units well, I have found that out of any other storage unit Ive ever used these storage units are the cleanest the most pest free and it is really easy to pay with an auto pay on your account! I am so happy that Ive chosen this location!

I was using Stor-It for a short term situation. The storage facility is decent. Lots of room to maneuver a moving truck outside and to get a handcart and many boxes and junk moved around on the inside. But even more important than the quality of the facility is the quality of the management. An unexpected issue arose and the manager, Jason, worked tirelessly with me to fix it. He was polite and friendly. He followed up promptly on messages and looking into things. The customer service was wonderful. Overall between what you get for the price and the amazing employees I would highly recommend Stor-It.

Displeased with discrepancies about refunds after moving out of the unit. When I was inquiring about upgrading to a larger unit, staff working at the desk informed me I would receive a pro-rated refund for any time afterward if I canceled. I payed $140 to upgrade, and then canceled 10 days later. The staff at the desk that very day took down my address in order to mail the refund check. One month later, after asking about where the refund was, I was contacted by a rude manager who curtly said my "supposed refund" was never authorized. I was very displeased with the result and the customer service provided the manager, a guy by the name of Stuart.

I am rating them at two stars, because they canceled my account with out my authorization and raised the rent of my unit from $35.00 a month to $46.00 a month. That is a 24% rase in rent!

We rented a large unit in the facility. They gave us a unit in the way back. Far away from the security camera that are up front by the gate. There were a series of break-ins. We lost a lot of our house stuff along with damage to some other furniture. The video cameras were to far away for the police to positively identify the people. Our insurance company requested a copy of our rental agreement. The guy working in the office said he called the management and told us they will NOT give me a copy of my rental agreement. This is not an easy place to work with and the security is very poor.

I reented a small storage unit for a month on a Saturday night, anticipating putting stuff into the following Monday. The move fell through, so when I went back to them and explained, they would NOT refund me any of the mi ths rent I had paid for just 2 days prior. I will never come back to this storage business!

Really a 0 star. Called to find out availability, was told a unit was available, told on phone I was not allowed to put a deposit down to hold it. Left immediately for facility, arrived 21 minutes after I hung up the phone, unit was already rented to someone else. Person in office asked me why I didn't put a deposit down to hold it until I got there?? I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE!!

I'm very disconcerted with the customer service of this business. We were told that we were set up on an automatic withdrawal and when we went to go pick up our trailer, our code was not working. Luckily, the gentleman that lives in premises was able to let us in. When we asked what the problem could be since we had just entered over the weekend he curtly said, "Because you didn't pay." I was going to let it slide as a simple clerical error or misunderstanding but i felt that was poor customer service and a rather bold assumption to bark from his car. When I called another location to see if I could rectify it, they couldn't log onto the system so my husband tried to take care of it the following day. The gentleman he spoke with was unhelpful and told us we needed to pay them an extra $10 for a late fee! Excuse me? Because you failed to properly do your job? He said he "then" switched the account over to automatic withdrawal. My husband asked how we could trust that it wouldn't happen again and tried contesting the fee, but was met with the same lack of professionalism as the man yelling from his car. It appears they need to get their act together and great customers with a little respect.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! ZERO STAR RATING!! Stor-It: 355 N Ten Mile Rd, Meridian, ID 83642 Stor-it offered and charged me a "Climate Controlled" storage unit, but will not stand behind that service. I rented a Climate Controlled unit in April 2017. In both June and July, while visiting the unit, I noticed that my "climate controlled unit was running warmer than I expected so on July 25th installed a high quality thermometer so I could verify the actual temperature. Turns out the temperature in the unit was in the mid 90's (94.7F to be exact) so I went to the onsite mgrs (Cody & Krissa) who were very kind and informed me that the climate controlled units should be maintained at around 72F. I then let Cody know that my unit was registering 94.7F and that there was clearly a problem that had been going on for some time. He told me he would have someone call me straight away and let me know when the matter would be resolved. On July 31, 2017 I called and left a message with the answering service inquiring as to wether or not the matter had been resolved and again I was told that someone would get right back to me. 5 minutes later a man named Dave" called me back and let me know that he would get with the owner and Cody to get the matter addressed. At that time I expressed my frustration over the issue and informed Dave that I expected receive some compensation for the "non-service" I had paid for the prior two months (June & July). He told me that sounded reasonable and that he would get back to me when the temp control system was fixed to work out my request. Fast forward to August 15, 2017. I called and spoke with Cody inquiring if the climate control had been fixed and he said that it had been fixed a little over a week ago. He also told me that apparently the heaters had been stuck on and thats why the temperature was not the climate controlled 72F he had told me the units were maintained at. I asked about the credit I requested for June and July and he told me he would have Dave or someone get back to me asap. The next day at 7:38AM MST, David called and left me a message letting me know the matter had been resolved. As he did not address my request for rental credit, I called the system (no human answers the Stor-It phone 95% of the time and if a human does answer the phone, its an answering service) and left a message for David letting him know I need to speak with him and that if he called back and missed me for any reason to leave a phone number that he would actually answer so as to avoid the VM Phone Tag nonsense. He called me back at 3:34PM MST and left a message (he called while I was receiving a delivery) and told me there would be no compensation. Seeing as how he did not leave me a direct line, I once again called the system and left him a message. He called me shortly thereafter and we had a heated discussion wherein I referred to the conversation from July 31 where I requested some rental compensation. Apparently he was not "Dave" but rather "David" and that he had no knowledge of any such conversation. He proceeded to rail on me for pestering him and told me straight up that I was SOL. BOTTOM LINE: If you offer a service, support it and be prepared to deal with customers amicably when problems arise that are your responsibility and be professional when reasonable requests are made. I've been in CS for over 30 years, I know how to treat customers, especially "upset" people. Refunding someone a few bucks as a way of saying sorry you had this experience with us goes a long way. Refuse, and this is what you get. Do yourself a big favor. Dont rent from Stor-It and save yourself a potential pain in the ass.

Told them I was moving out of the space the first week of the month and they said to pay ahead for the month and once my things were out they'd refund the remainder. After I was out, they told me there would be no refund, but a credit for future use. Awesome. That's what we all need. Our money held hostage to guarantee that I come back to them for my future storage needs. Sounds like poor service. UPDATE TO RESPONSE: My husband went in in person before we paid and was told the above information. They said to let them know as soon as we moved out of the space and they would comp the overcharge. There was obviously a miscommunication. And you know as well as I do that unless you're a lawyer, no one reads all the small print. Just make sure your staff is fully trained before relaying false promises to customers.

Been doing business with this storage unit for 10 years with no issues. It's where I stored my extra items after I was transferred here and when I started my business it's the storage unit company that I used to work out of. Recently bought a couple of Queen size mattress covers to store an extra mattress set. One fit on the box, but the mattress a Simmons Beautyrest exceptionale was to deep and the mattress cover would not fit. I did not open it as I tried the cover on the mattress first and when I realized it didn't fit I put it on the box. Took my receipt and the unopened case back to the storage unit only to be told at the bottom of the receipt it says all sales Final on packaging material. All sales final is fine, but the product needs to work. Bad practice.
