The customer service that I received from American Classic Storage was awesome! From my very first call with Jonathan, he routed me to Roger at the Portsmouth location. Roger gave me a beautiful tour of the facility, went over the details with the paperwork and I was able to move in at the timeline I wanted! I rented a 10'x10' unit for 2 years. Prices are competitive and reasonable. Access was never a problem, including while towing a 17' trailer with my truck to pack out. If I wasn't moving, I'd still be a customer.

Quick and easy. I reserved my storage unit and was done in less than 20 minutes. $24 move in is awesome. Great customer service and a clean, secure ,well maintained place.

Went here to help a friend pick up some things. Didnt see anyone inside but it looked clean and secure. Next to a gas station so its a convenient little nook. Dont follow GPS though. It takes you to a side entrance that is no longer there.

This is a very secure location. They have a very warm and welcoming office with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They also have a free move in truck that was very helpful and saved me a lot of time,headache, and money. They offer plenty of options to choose from like climate control unit's to store all my keepsakes. I can even store my R.V and boat here along with all my other seasonal items. Needless to say I'm very happy with my choice.

Me and my husband recently just moved to Portsmouth from uniontown Pennsylvania. My father in law set up for us to get a storage unit through Roger and we were verysatisfied with the Unit. The facilities are very well kept up and very secure. When we were setting up with Roger he was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend American classic storage!!!

I have used American Classic Storage on two different occasions. The first was several years ago when I moved to the area from out of state and needed a place to hold all the excess "stuff." I found the personnel, the place, the gate times and the security all to my liking. I finally got all that separated and cleared out of the unit. Recently, I decided to downsize and again faced the dilemma of storing before "getting rid of stuff." I decided to go back to ACSS. I got a small unit and once again, I am very pleased to have a nice place, easily accessible, safe and very clean and neat. Roger has always been so helpful and patient, even when I could not open my lock and had to have it removed. That also goes for all the office workers. I am thankful for a place like this when the circumstances like mine. I am happy to recommend this economical way that helps us get organized. myrtle v. thompson

I used this facility for almost 13 years and when I pulled my things out of storage I could place them in my house no dusting, wiping, cleaning etc. needed! Roger Pugh the manager there is PHENONOMAL in every aspect of customer service. No matter his situation, no matter the day, no matter the time Rogers attitude is consistently great and brings a smile to you rather by phone or in person. I would definitely use this business again and recommend it to any and everyone. The climate control is worth every penny and the prices are very reasonable. They also sale all kinds of storage materials making it a one stop shop. Please consider this place if you are searching for a great storage place!

American Classic Storage in Portsmouth is located at 3709 Gateway Drive in Portsmouth, Virginia, 23703. Portsmouth is home of the Coast Guard and we respect our military and armed forces and offer a military discount. Our manager, Roger, is a Navy Veteran. Our team of self-storage professionals are ready to answer all of your moving and storage questions. We have a free moving truck available at this location. Our self storage manager will assist you with appropriate unit sizes, and we do recommend renter's insurance.
